The Prince and Princess of Wales have become the subject of a new viral video, with fans praising a small interaction between the pair at a recent event.
William and Kate married in 2011 and have increasingly featured in fan-made social media posts and videos since taking on the elevated titles of Prince and Princess of Wales in 2022.
The royal couple marked World Mental Health Day this month with a series of engagements related to mental wellbeing and the surrounding issues.

On October 10, the prince and princess hosted a youth forum to discuss mental health and young people in the social media age. As part of the forum, Kate delivered a rare keynote speech reflecting on the work she and William have continued to take an interest in.
“William and I continue to be inspired to see young people, like you all here today, leading this charge—being particularly brave in having some of those conversations yourselves,” she said. “As a generation, you value and talk more about your mental health than any before you—something we truly admire and applaud.”
After giving her speech, Kate returned to a nearby table where William was sitting, with the prince spotted on camera applauding his wife before chivalrously pulling out a chair for her to sit down beside him.
This moment was uploaded to TikTok by user the_blazing_royals on October 11, gaining over 250,000 views on the site on its first day.
Captioned: “Cute moment today as gentleman Prince William pulls out Catherine’s chair for her after she gave a speech at a mental health forum in Birmingham 🥰,” the video has received in excess of 8,000 likes and over 100 comments, many of which have praised the couple.
“It’s the little things that count 🥰,” wrote one TikTok user.
“His mother brought him up with impeccable manners 🥰👑,” posted another in reference to Princess Diana, with a further comment reading: “Such a beautiful couple inside and out 🥰.”
William and Kate have delighted fans over the years with a number of public displays of affection (PDA) while at official engagements.
These have become widely shared by fans and most recently include the couple’s congratulatory kiss at a charity polo game in July. The romantic gesture was doubly shared owing to the fact that it coincided with International Kissing Day.

Another example of one of the couple’s PDA moments was displayed in February during the 2023 BAFTA Film Awards. William and Kate attended the ceremony in London as part of William’s role as the British Academy of Film and Television Arts president.
When walking the red carpet at the Royal Albert Hall in South Kensington, Kate was spotted on camera patting her husband playfully on the butt to grab his attention. The moment became a viral sensation and prompted comments from fans and critics alike.
